Taking a break from Lux conflicts.
On Load Order
Learned that BSAs only load if the mod has a plugin (.esp/.esm/.esl
), unless using bsa_redirection
(still need to research that).
Load Order Summary:
- BSAs (packed files) load based on plugin order (right pane).
- Loose files from the left pane always override BSAs — regardless of plugin order.
So:
- MO2 loads BSAs (based on plugin order).
- Then loose files from enabled mods (based on left pane order) override any duplicates.
General Updates
LOOT Grouping
- Unsure where to categorize new Fluffworks patches, so I:
- Created a temporary LOOT group: “Patches – Fluffworks” (placed after Late Loaders).
- Added Fluffworks – CC Wild Horse Patch to this group.
- Added Fluffworks plugin itself to the “Late Loaders” group.
- Noticed both MM – Real Skeevers and its Fluffworks patch don’t have plugins, so LOOT grouping has no effect on them—they follow left pane order in MO2.
