Developer’s Log: March 10, 2025

Today I decided to address a Precision-related bug.

I love Precision, or at least, I love the idea of it. But I play primarily in first-person, and Precision presents a frustrating bug. With it activated (default MCM settings), enemies have an incredibly hard time hitting my character. I’d guess their miss rate to be about 70%–while I’m standing still!

Running the “Speed and Reach Fixes” Synthesis patch seems to have solved it.

Installed TK Dodge

  • Created new separator group “Dodge Animations”
  • Installed TK Dodge SE – Animation Meshes Only
  • Installed TK Dodge RE
  • Ran Nemesis patch “TK Dodge RE / Ultimate Combat”
  • Installed TK Dodge NG
  • Reinstalled Precision with “TK Dodge RE” patch option ticked

Followed instructions here on the TK Dodge NG description.

In depth instructions:

  • Install TK Dodge for RE from TK Dodge SE. It contains ONLY the meshes folder.
  • Install TK Dodge RE and let it overwrite both the previous mod and nemesis. From it’s mod page:
    • Ensure that the “TK Dodge RE” is load after the “Nemesis” and override the “TKUC” patch files inside “Nemesis”. You should see somethings likes that if you are using MO2. (If you are using Vortex, you will also need to delete all those “.vortex_backup” files inside your Nemesis folder.)
    • Open Nemesis. If your files overriding in previous stage is correct, you should see the patch “TK Dodge RE / Ultimate Combat” here, if not then your previous stage must went wrong! Click this patch and install it if you do see it.
  • Install this mod and let it overwrite all of the other “TK Dodge” mods. You’re done! (make sure you’ve ran nemesis).
  • Your load order should look something like this:
